Shorter distance, faster time
Today I only ran 3.1 miles, however, because of the shorter distance I decided to push myself a little harder and improve my time. Amazing that only a few months ago 3 miles was quite a challenge now it seems like nothing.

Still on schedule
I have completed a total of 20 miles this week! I hope that I am on track for the Mini in May! Right now I am simply trying to build endurance, I will work on the speed aspect later. My training seems to agree with my body, I have not experienced any significant pain or soreness.

My biggest run to date
I am so pumped! I can not believe that I actually ran 7 miles without stopping! I know to some of you this may seem like an easy feat, however, I just started running in August and have never ran long distance in my entire life. I hope I am well on my way to completing my first mini marathon in May!

This is a new experience for me! I’m not sure what I’m doing so bare with me! I am planning on running my first mini marathon, I am hoping to gain any all support and motivation that I possibly can. I have been doing fairly well on my training efforts but encourage any advice that I can get - as this is new ground for me!
